Status pipeline
Every project moves through a sequence of statuses — for example, Kickoff → In Progress → Review → Completed. Atrium lets you define your own pipeline per organization instead of using fixed built-in stages. How statuses work
The status pipeline appears in the project detail sidebar. Click any stage in the pipeline to move the project forward or backward. Each status has a name, a color, and an order. The current status is highlighted. Clients see a read-only progress bar in the portal that reflects the same pipeline — they cannot change the status themselves.Customizing statuses
Navigate to Settings → System (owner or admin access required) to add, rename, reorder, or delete statuses for your organization. Changes apply to all projects immediately.Labels
You can attach one or more labels (tags) to a project to group or filter across your portfolio. Labels are created and managed at the organization level and can be applied to projects, clients, tasks, and files. To add a label to a project, click the label picker in the Labels section of the project sidebar and select from the list. To remove a label, click it again to deselect.Labels are visible only to team members in the dashboard. Clients do not see labels in the portal.

A decision task poses a question to clients with a set of labeled options. Clients vote directly from the portal. Once voting is complete, owners and admins can close the vote to lock results. Clients can see the vote count after the vote is closed.Comments on tasks
Like updates, tasks support threaded comments visible to both team members and assigned clients.Archiving projects
Archiving a project hides it from clients and disables all editing. Use archiving for completed work you want to keep on record without cluttering the active view.- Archive
